The month of Roctober is upon us, and with it comes a cavalcade of eldritch wonder, highlighted by a trio of brand new releases!  For your gaming enjoyment this month, we present: Zombies, Serpentmen and Grave Markers!  All available from our online store starting October 1st.

You’ll also find some exciting new rules over in the Resources area.  Alter some undead genetic code with a Mad Scientist, and test the resolve of those weak-willed Threshold operatives by forcing them to face… Scenes of Horror!

To add to the excitement, we also have two contests for you!  First, we want you to create the most sanity-blasting pieces of terrain you can fit onto an old CD.  Unleash the horrors that have been lurking all these years in the depths of your mind!  Or, if you’re of a more literary bent, try your hand at a tale set in the Strange Aeons universe.  If we really like your story, it’ll even make its way into our first compilation of fiction, due out next year.  Note the new Contests tab up on the menu, where you can see all the gory details.

Blasphemous Construct

Last but certainly far from least, a very special opportunity to get your hands on a figure months ahead of official release.  During the entire month of October, all orders of $60 CAD or more placed in our online store will receive a free Blasphemous Construct figure!  Once you’ve had a look at the Mad Scientist rules, you’re gonna want one! Max one Construct per customer.

You may have noticed some blank screens both here and at our online store over the past few days.  We unfortunately fell victim to nefarious persons or organizations set on our utter destruction!  Uhh, ok, maybe they just wanted to mess up our websites, but it sounds so much more dramatic that way.  We’ve managed to get everything cleaned up and back online.  Our apologies if this caused any disruption to your ritualistic dedication to our game.

Werewolf

Lycanthrope lovers rejoice!  What better way to fill the dog days of Summer than painting your very own ravenous werewolf?  This is a big model (depicted on a 40mm base), so he gets his own pack all to himself.  Head over to our online store to get yours!  You’ll be eviscerating those pesky agents in no time.

Hello world, and thanks to all of you who’ve embraced our game with such enthusiasm.  This is how cults start, which we find quite heartwarming.  Our first free Lurker, the Human/Fishman Hybrid, has been posted over in the Resources area.  We have some big stuff planned for next month (Rocktober!) to feed your unspeakable hunger.  Only a few short weeks to wait!  We’ll also have some contests, which will give you a chance to win Strange Aeons swag and potentially even get some of your creative ideas into the future of the game.

We’re hard at work on the first expansion for the game, which we hope to have available by Q2 2010.  There are also some other exciting projects in development, which we’ll be sure to fill you in on as they come closer to becoming a reality.
