Apologies to anyone who encountered difficulties trying to view the site over the past two days.  We had some technical issues, which we now hope are entirely behind us!

One week remains to get your entry in for BrushOff! 2011.  If you’ve been keeping an eye on the gallery, we already have quite a number of challengers.  Still need some motivation?  How about a full reveal on that secret grand prize kit.

Behold, the Dark Puppeteer!  Sculpted from a concept created for us by comic artist Nat Jones, this monster kit stands well over 6″ / 15cm tall assembled, and includes the scenic base (with horrified agent) and clear acrylic stand.  He won’t be available for sale until Q2 of next year, so the contest winner will be getting one well ahead of schedule!

Dark Puppeteer

Two weeks left to get your BrushOff! entry in.  Head over to the gallery to check our your competition.

And what about that top-secret grand prize kit?  Poor Agent Lovecraft doesn’t seem to know what he’s got himself into….

Godling

The Horror!

Yup, it’s that time of year again! But before we get to contest stuff…

The price of our sanity-blasting Godling kit has been reduced to $180. If you ordered a Godling at its original price, we’re pleased to offer you a free standard pack of figures with your next order – just let us know what you’d like when you place it.

Now, BrushOff! It’s a new year, but the rules remain the same: paint any one pack of Strange Aeons miniatures and send us a picture by November 30. We’ll pick our three favourites and hand out some prizes:

3rd Place – Miniature pack of your choice
2nd Place – Two miniature packs of your choice
1st Place – The Grand Prize: a top-secret yet-to-be-released monster kit

The grand prize kit will be previewed in a few weeks, and will not be available for purchase until Spring 2012. You can be the first to have this hideous beast, but you’ll have to impress us with your fancy brushwork to get your hands on it! Pictures can be sent to contests@strange-aeons.ca, or posted on the BrushOff! 2011 thread at the Lead Adventure Forum. JPG, GIF or PNG format are preferred, with a resolution no greater than 1024×768. We’ll be adding all entries to our gallery as they come in.

Now, get painting!
